Veda St Vier is a hairstylist and educator born and raised in New Jersey. A series of lackluster haircuts early in life lead them to the (very DIY) beginnings of their hair cutting journey. After over a decade of home haircuts for themself and their friends, they decided to take it legit back in 2018, enrolling and graduating from Redken’s Salon Professional Academy. Since then, they have been dedicated to growing their knowledge and pushing their creative boundaries, studying both scissor and razor techniques from some of the top names in the field.

Growing up with curly hair meant experiencing frequent disappointment in the hair salon. Veda works to create a space where a client’s concerns can be expressed and heard, and where realistic solutions can be offered. They focus on working with a client’s hair vs working against it. Veda specializes in low maintenance cutting and styling that encourages natural texture and movement.
