What to Book
Haircuts:
For most clients, the standard “haircut and blowout” listing is the right one! This appointment slot sets us up with one hour and 15 minutes, and includes a full consultation, wash, cut, and styling, as well as time to answer any questions or have a quick styling tutorial.
For clients with extra long or extra thick hair, select the “haircut and blowout (lots of hair)” option. This gives us an extra fifteen minutes of time together. This is also a great option if you’re considering making a big or creative change to your haircut, or if you feel you need extra time to ask questions about home styling or maintenance.
Cuts can be done either with scissors or razor, or a combination of both, depending on your style goals. Styling can be blown out, or hand styled/diffused to client’s natural texture.
Calligraphy Cuts:
Calligraphy Cut, inspired by the delicate art of flower cutting, uses a uniquely designed tool called the Calligraph. Held like a pen, it cuts hair at a precise 21-degree angle. This patented technique increases the surface area of each hair strand by nearly 300%, allowing it to absorb more moisture and nutrients. The outcome is hair that is healthier, with enhanced volume, texture, and movement.
Calligraphy Cuts are great options for people who like to go longer between haircuts, those who love a soft, lived in look, and those who are looking to boost volume. Like scissor or razor haircuts, there are two options, a standard option, and an extended option for those with extra long or thick hair.
Shape Ups and Bang Trims:
Shape ups and bang trims are appointments to extend the life of your haircut! These are dry trims, for established clientele only. Bang trims are 15 minute appointments, for trimming the center front of the hair only, while shape ups are 30 minute appointments, meant to clean up the bangs, face framing, and crown layers. Shape ups are perfect for when you don’t want to change your length, but feel like the shape of your shag is falling flat!
